Inier Cardinal, Manager of Metis Settlements will share how he stepped into working with a family in the frontline in order to experience the Safety Planning Roadmap and get a better perspective of what he was asking his workers to do. He will share the journey of how he went from ‘opting out’ of practising Signs of Safety on his terms, to leading his own casework and truly understanding the significance of what this practice framework can bring to the Metis families in his community when done well.
