Dr. Bestmann chose an exploratory-qualitative and a participatory practical research approach. The research focused on success factors in implementation and the effects achieved at different levels. The methodology included 32 qualitative interviews, three participant observations, and two workshop discussions.  The findings were shared and discussed with the organisation’s steering group and learnings informed implementation next steps.
